Peter B. Franz, Managing Director

Mr. Franz has twelve years of private equity experience with FCP and currently serves as Co-Chairman of its Investment Committee.  He serves on the Board of Directors of each of FCP’s current portfolio companies.  Mr. Franz’s primary responsibilities include visiting prospective portfolio companies, negotiating, structuring and managing the closing process of transactions, and working with portfolio companies on value creation initiatives.  Prior to joining FCP, Mr. Franz was a Vice President of NationsCredit Commercial Corporation (“NCCC”) where he specialized in financing the acquisitions of middle market companies.  While at NCCC, Mr. Franz completed 28 transactions including eight financings for acquisitions sponsored by FCP.  Mr. Franz holds a B.S. degree in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.

Felix J. Wong, Managing Director

Mr. Wong has 15 years of private equity experience with FCP and currently serves as Co-Chairman of its Investment Committee.  He serves on the Board of Directors of each of FCP’s current portfolio companies.  Mr. Wong’s primary responsibilities include visiting prospective portfolio companies, negotiating, structuring and managing the closing process, and working with portfolio companies on value creation initiatives.  Prior to joining FCP, Mr. Wong worked in the Corporate Finance Department of Stephens, Inc. where he specialized in valuations, acquisition finance, and sale transactions.  Mr. Wong holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Wake Forest University.

David L. Haas, Principal

Mr. Haas has ten years of private equity experience with FCP and is Member of its Investment Committee.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of five existing FCP portfolio companies.  Mr. Haas is involved in all aspects of the deal process including, negotiating, structuring and managing the closing process of transactions, and working with portfolio companies on value creation initiatives.  He also spends a portion of his time focused on investor relations.  Mr. Haas graduated with Distinction with a B.S. degree in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Scott J. Heberlein, Vice President

Mr. Heberlein has eight years of private equity experience with FCP and is a member of its Investment Committee.  He focuses a majority of his time on deal origination efforts, including communicating with deal sources and conducting industry research related to potential acquisition targets.  He also works in the development of FCP’s marketing strategy and promotional materials and supporting selected LOI stage deals.  Mr. Heberlein earned a B.S. degree in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Christian P. Chenier, Associate, Marketing

Mr. Chenier has two years of private equity experience with FCP.  He is a member of the deal origination team working to source and gather information on potential acquisition targets. Mr. Chenier’s primary responsibilities at FCP include communication and correspondence with investment bankers, business brokers, company owners, and other deal sources.  Prior to joining FCP in 2006, Mr. Chenier played an instrumental role in helping three start-up companies achieve Inc 500 status. Mr. Chenier holds a B.S. degree in Management from the University of Florida, and a M.B.A. from Georgia State University.

Benjamin C. Nowak, Analyst

Mr. Nowak joined FCP in July 2008 as an Investment Analyst. In this role, he is responsible for industry and company specific research, preparing financial models, assisting in due diligence, drafting financing memoranda, and monitoring portfolio company performance. Mr. Nowak earned a B.S. degree in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
